We’ve taken the rider’s perspective to bring you the most ideal equestrian performance apparel. Our grips are placed on the part of the leg used when you ride. We’ve used different elastics throughout the pants to prevent slippage, while still making them comfortable. Combining this design with water resistant coating, thread, and just the right amount of stretch to prevent puckering and gaping, we’ve started a revolution in riding apparel.
I’ve never been satisfied with average. Whenever there’s an opportunity to make something better, I can’t help but to sit down and try to figure out how to make it happen.
I'd watch horse riders grab at their knees to stabilize them over a jump, or constantly adjust and pull at their pants because worn elastic caused them to slip down. Turns out, over the last century there has been little to no innovation in equestrian apparel.
Aside from modern synthetic materials like elastics and silicone, it seems that no one has taken the time to figure out what riders really need. So I decided to innovate with Equo.
As a single mom, starting a company has not been easy. I’m uniquely aware of the challenges faced by women, and I've developed a passion for improving the lives of the animals we love. While at the same time, creating opportunities for our children to enjoy riding too.
This is why I’ve launched the Equo Fund, which supports equine-based charities. Our ethos has always been remaining true to who we are: making a difference where we can. That idea is also woven into the fabric of all the apparel we make.
