WyzAnt.com is a website that lists thousands of tutors and private instructors in all academic subjects, musical instruments, foreign languages, computers, etc. Students come to WyzAnt to find local tutors by searching the listings, reviewing tutor profiles and communicating directly with the tutor.

Commission

The commission is a flat $6 for each visitor to the site who sends an email to a tutor. (All WyzAnt customers initiate the process of finding a tutor by sending an email through the site.) The email is generally short and to the point, such as:

"Hi, My son is a sophomore and struggling in his geometry class. I'm hoping to line up tutor twice a week in the evenings. Can you help?"

It is not uncommon to have a conversion rate of 10-20% for our PPC campaigns. Also, a commission is paid regardless of whether or not a student begins lessons with a tutor.
