How the Affiliate/Referral Partner Program works

  • Sign up to be our authorized Affiliate/Referral Partner.
  • Place a banner ad from The Planet on your Web site -- Provided to you in our marketing tools.
  • Blog about us.
  • Place a "Powered by The Planet" graphic link on your Web site.
  • Refer your business associates.
  • Visitors from your Web site will automatically see a specialized version of The Planet's Web site that is optimized for Affiliate/Referral Partner traffic.
  • All chat pop-ups are suppressed, all chat and 800 number prompts are removed from our site header, and are removed from most inside pages.
  • No parasites, SPAM activity, or other activity deemed malicious or harmful to Affiliate/Referral Partners is allowed in our network which is determined at our sole discretion.
  • Start collecting commissions!

How you get paid

  • The first order on any new account referred by the authorized Affiliate/Referral Partner is eligible for commission
  • Commission is a one-time, 100 percent commission based on the new customer's monthly recurring revenue on the initial order placed, less taxes, discounts, rebates and credits paid to you after 45 days.
  • There is no cap on the size of the order or the resulting commission that is paid.
  • The new account and order must remain paid and in good standing for a period of 45 days before the commission is paid.
  • Tracking cookies survive for 120 days.
  • We pay commissions on all monthly recurring revenue items that are purchased through our online shopping cart.
  • You still receive your commission if an inside sales rep is selected in our shopping cart.
  • Commissions grow with the size of the sale. If the customer you refer buys 10 servers, you'll be paid a one-time commission on all 10 servers.
  • If you wish to become a hosting customer of The Planet, your first purchase as your own self-referral is eligible for commissions, just like any other referral traffic you send to The Planet!

  • Website Language (We only accept sites in English)
  • Prospective ability of your site to drive traffic to our Merchants
  • Any illegal, porn, hate, etc... on your site, or on sites that you link to
  • Other misc. factors


Decisions made by ShareASale about membership applications are final, but you are free to re-apply if you wish in the future, should your application not be accepted. Please provide as much detail as possible when applying so that we can review your application accurately.
