Flowfold was born in 2010 on Peaks Island, Maine, with a dream to make lighter, stronger gear. Inspired by the unpredictable Maine environment, our founder Charley Friedman used scraps of sailcloth to craft the thinnest, lightest, and strongest wallet that he could use everyday for every activity. That idea grew, and today we're still combining the lightest, most durable materials with a minimalist design philosophy to craft adventure gear you can use everyday. Fans find us in L.L. Bean, REI, and other major retailers, as well as our website, flowfold.com—and our community of ambassadors and partners has grown exponentially.
