How can I view reports of my account activity?Reports can be viewed online 24/7 for your conveinence. You may also download reports to a .csv format for import into popular programs such as Spreadsheet applications, databases, etc...
What types of linking are allowed?Banners, Text-Links, all sizes and shapes. Product
links, HTML links such as search boxes, etc. Dynamic javascript linking
is coming soon.

What kinds of commissions can I pay at ShareASale?Per Lead, Per Sale (Both fixed amount and percentage), and Per Hit.
Do you require an exclusive contract?No.
How are the affiliates paid, do I need to write checks?We do all of the check writing. Affiliates are paid on the 20th of every month, accurately and ontime.
How do you know which affiliate to credit for a sale or lead?ShareASale uses cookies to track users, leads, sales, clicks, etc. Upon the action on your website (such as a sale or lead), you report to us that an action has taken place, using the code that we provide to you during setup. At that time, we figure out which affiliate, if any, is responsible for the transaction. ALL NORMAL TRANSACTIONS, through other advertising means, are NOT tracked by shareasale.com because they did not come through a shareasale.com affiliate. If we hadn't figured out how to tell the difference, we wouldn't be able to be in business. :)

How

What happens if a customer does not have cookies turned on in their browser?Our research indicates that nearly 99% of internet users have cookies enabled on their browser. Cookies are an integral part of the web, and aid in the creation of e-commerce website, user-friendly websites, and other customized sites. In the uncommon event, however, that a customer has cookies disabled on their browser, the customer is not available for tracking, and sales will not be tracked.
When cookies are used, what information is available to ShareASale?We do not profile customers, aggregate data for analysis on customer preferences, or store any customer data. We use cookies solely for the purpose of providing an affiliate management solution, and only generic information about a customer is used.
What kind of fraud prevention do you have?We have many automated tools in place to alert us to possible fraud. Our team also monitors the activities of merchants and affiliates alike, to make sure that there is no suspicious activity. ALL checks are reviewed before they are sent, and fraudulent users will NOT be paid ANY commissions. The fact is that most people who attempt to fraud merchants or affiliates, are not very good at it, and are easy to spot, catch, and terminate from the network. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for fraud, no exceptions, no second chances.
Is there any software to install on our server, do we need to pay you for this?We give you a small piece of HTML code to put on the "Action" page of your website. For a per-sale program, this would be the page that displays a receipt, etc. That is the only "software" to install, there is no other programming knowledge required at all. If you need help installing the software, we will help, there is no charge for help setting up the shareasale.com code. We do charge you if you need redesigning of your website, shopping cart code, etc...however, this event is quite rare as 99% of the time, your webmaster should be able to complete the job very quickly.
How does ShareASale make money?We charge you, the merchant, a 20% fee for each transaction.
For example, if you have a lead program that pays $1.00 per lead, we charge
an extra 20%, or 20 cents in this case, for a total deduction from your
account of $1.20

Who sets the commission rates, and how is that done. Can I setup different commissions for different affiliates?You, the merchant, decide how much to pay and which types of commissions. You can setup as many different commission rates as you want for different affiliates, and can setup hybrid programs as well, such as 25 cents per lead and 10 percent of a sale to Affiliate A, and only 3 cents a click to Affiliate B, etc....
What shopping carts can I use with your service?Lots and lots. These include Nexternal Solutions, Miva Merchant, Americart, Yahoo and many other popular shopping
cart programs.
Can
I promote specific products?
Yes, we have a product database where you can upload specific product images and information.
How long / What are the average results after a month?Results vary widely, and it will also depend on how
much time you spend on the program as well. We have typically found that
after about a month of being on the network, merchants are very happy
with the results that they are seeing. We can't give any averages, etc...,
because each program is unique and has different levels of results. We

What kind of statistics do we see?All leads and sales have an entry in the register,
so that you can view each individually. You also have access to hit reports
by affiliate, sales/lead reports by affiliate, you can download these
to .csv files as well. If you have any need for extra reports, we will
be happy to assist and hopefully set them up for you.
What
other paid services do you provide?
We offer many services in order to help merchants succeed with their program. When you sign up as a merchant, you can view our services which we call "Featured Program" services.
How long does it take to get started, and be up and running with my program?Most merchants can be up and running in the same day that they sign up.
