Shareasale.com has decided to run a contest, to award whomever establishes themselves as the "Top Performer" on our network from the time period of August 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002. The Grand Prize will be an affiliate commission bonus of $5,000.00 US Dollars. Some important points...

1. Only sales commissions or lead commissions from participating merchants will count towards your "Total". Only sales taking place between August 1, 2002 starting at 12:01 AM, and December 31, 2002 ending at 11:59 PM will count towards your "Total". The affiliate who earns the most commission from the aggregate of any participating merchant programs that they are participating in, will earn the "$5,000 Bonus". Participating merchants will be indentified by text, and also by the following icon:

2. To keep you interested as time goes along, Shareasale.com will also reward the "Top Performer" of each individual month between August 1, 2002 and December 31, 2002, a $500 Commission Bonus. The months for these bonuses will be: August 2002, September 2002, October 2002, November 2002, and December 2002. Commission Bonuses, including the monthly bonuses and the "$5,000.00 Bonus" will be paid within 30 days of the end of the specific time period. For example, the $500 bonus for the "Top Performer" in August, will be paid by September 30. The "$5,000 Bonus" will be paid on or before January 30, 2003.

3. So, yes, it is possible, and perfectly legal within our contest for you to win each of the monthly bonuses, and also the "$5,000 Bonus" at the end for a total of $7,500.

4. Due to the nature of the promotion, and the interest that we expect to generate, we will be restricting access to the contest to qualified applicants. There aren't any special rules to live by on this, but in order to be approved for the contest, we suggest that you have the following: A top-level domain name, i.e., not www.somesitenotyours.com/yourname, but instead www.yourdomainname.com etc. You must also comply with all the rules and regulations found in the shareasale.com terms of agreement - www.shareasale.com/agreement.cfm

5. Fraud will be watched for tightly, as usual. Any instances of fraud could have you removed not only from the contest, but from shareasale.com in general. We will also tell our friends. Do not attempt to commit fraud, it is a serious crime.

6. Do not SPAM. We can't say this enough, if you SPAM, you will be removed. There are NO SECOND CHANCES on this one.

7. Other than that, it is pretty much life as normal as a shareasale.com affiliate...the only difference is that you now have a chance to become the "Top Performer" and earn $5,000.00 in extra cash.

Well, you have to signup for shareasale.com. That is the first thing. If you are alread a member, you can login to your account, and click the "Apply for Contest" link. From there we will receive your application, and approve your account. Remember, if you choose not to participate in the contest, you can still participate in the shareasale.com network.
